On 21 April 2025, Rear Admiral Jumpon Nakbua, Director of the Office of Policies and Plans at the Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center (Thai-MECC), chaired a bilateral meeting with delegation members from the Joint U.S. Military Advisory Group Thailand (JUSMAGTHAI) and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The meeting was convened in the Thai-MECC conference facility, located on the 19th floor of the NT Tower in Bangkok's Bang Rak district.

Key Objectives :

1. Facilitate professional exchange between Thai-MECC forensic specialists and Mr. Luu Pham, NCIS Special Agent and Assistant Attaché (Force Protection Detachment) of the U.S. Embassy Bangkok, focusing on operational best practices

2. Explore collaborative opportunities in:

   - Specialized training programs

   - Technical knowledge sharing in maritime forensic investigation methodologies

The discussions aimed to enhance Thai-MECC's operational competencies in maritime forensic examination and crime scene investigation capabilities.
