วันที่ 11 ธันวาคม 2567 พลเรือโท ดนัย สุวรรณหงส์ ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์ยุทธการ ศรชล. (ศยก.ศรชล.) เป็นผู้แทน ศรชล. และ Mr.Alexandru Chiric, CRIMARIO II project, representative for SE Asia ได้ลงนาม IORIS Partnership Agreement (IPA) ระหว่าง ศรชล. และ สหภาพยุโรป โดยโครงการ CRIMARIO II ณ อาคาร ศปก.ทร. (พระราชวังเดิม) ชั้น 1 ศูนย์ยุทธการ ศรชล. 

การลงนาม ตามข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (IPA) ในครั้งนี้  มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสารทางทะเลและทำให้เกิดการตระหนักรู้ภาพสถานการณ์ทางทะเลเดียวกัน (Maritime Domain Awareness MDA) ทั้งในระดับพื้นที่และระดับภูมิภาค ผ่านการใช้งานระบบ IOIRS โดยปัจจุบัน ระบบ IORIS มีหน่วยงานและประเทศเข้าร่วมเป็นสมาชิก กว่า 100 หน่วยงาน กว่า 45 ประเทศ ในภูมิภาคอินโด-แปซิฟิก

ระบบ IORIS โดยโครงการ CRIMARIO II ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากสหภาพยุโรปเป็นระบบสำหรับการติดต่อสื่อสาร ประสานงาน แบ่งปันข้อมูลภาพสถานการณ์ทางทะเล ในระดับภูมิภาคระหว่างหน่วยงานทั้งภายในและภายนอกประเทศร่วมกันระหว่างประเทศสมาชิก อีกทั้ง โครงการ CRIMARIO II ยังสนับสนุน การฝึกอบรมในระดับพื้นฐานจนถึงระดับสูง รวมทั้ง การใช้คำปรึกษาให้แก่และการสนับสนุนอย่างต่อเนื่อง ต่อประเทศสมาชิกผู้ร่วมใช้งานอีกด้วย

On 11th December 2024, Vice Admiral Danai Suwannahong, RTN. Director of Maritime Enforcement Operations Center, THAI-MECC and Mr.Alexandru Chiric, CRIMARIO II project, representative for SE Asia has signed the IORIS and the Partnership Agreement (IPA) at THAI-MECC Operations, Bangkok. 

The IORIS information-exchange system is funded by the European Union with the objective to become a reliable tool for regional cooperation in the Indo-Pacific and be governed by its user-agencies. Over 100 partner organizations from over 45 countries use IORIS in the Indo-Pacific, all the way from Africa to South America. And today, THAI-MECC becomes one of the permanent partnerships within the IORIS community. 

Based on this agreement, CRIMARIO is committed to providing a first set of foundation, advanced and train-the-trainer courses, which enable a partner agency to further conduct necessary training of personnel using its own certified trainers. CRIMARIO has also committed to providing continuous mentoring and support, particularly through the organization of regular exercises.

This IPA between THAI-MECC and CRIMARIO is built on a foundation of mutual respect and shared vision. We believe that by combining our strengths, we can achieve something truly remarkable. Our agreement today is a roadmap for collaboration, a blueprint for success, and a testament to what we can accomplish when we join forces.

Together, we’ll turn the potential of this agreement into tangible results that benefit not just our organizations, but the communities we serve. Here’s to a future of shared success.
